The internal sensor on the Exilim EX-V8 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter. Casio implemented a digital zoom on the Exilim EX-V8 with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 40 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Exilim EX-V8 was set at 1/2 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/800 seconds.
Movies are supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Casio Exilim EX-V8 has an internal storage space of 11 mb extendable with SD/SDHC/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Exilim EX-V8 diagonally measures 2.5 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television.
